Selin and Eric are two incredibly loving, fun, and energetic people. It was a privilege getting to know them and bringing this unforgettable evening to fruition. Hailing from different corners of the globe, Selin from Turkey and Eric from Seattle, this was a celebration that perfectly captured their unique story. Planning with them and transforming their dream of a timeless and romantic evening into a reality, was an absolute blast!
Set against the backdrop of Eric's childhood home, the wedding exuded nostalgia and charm. Daniel Kim artfully captured every emotion and the beauty that was accentuated by Elle Fleurit’s masterful floral designs.
Guests were greeted with a wishing tree in place of a guest book, where they wrote notes for the soon to be wedded. Their ceremony was warm and joyous! As a unique touch, before recessing, they signed their license in the presence of all guests at the altar. And, as they recessed guests through handmade paper petals embedded with wildflower seeds, which they will let grow into a meadow, forever symbolizing their love.
Selin and Eric wanted to honor their story through food. Together with John Howie, we curated a menu that fused Turkish, LA, and Seattle flavors, mirroring the couple's unique journey. Guests were treated to a three course meal, featuring dishes from Turkey, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Paired with specialty cocktails named after the streets they have lived on together, the menu was a perfect representation of their story.
The night continued with heartfelt toasts and traditional Turkish dances. Amil Visuals' videography encapsulated the day's essence, from heartfelt vows to joyful dances DJ’d by Injoy Entertainment.
Guests enjoyed the party into the early hours of the morning, dancing and singing by the pool, complete with late night snacks and a surprise performance by Eric and his dad.
