Paige + Billy
Stoller Family Estate was the ideal choice for Paige and Billy's wedding. The couple loved spending time there while previously visiting Oregon (a special place to Paige, now living in Brooklyn) and they knew it would be a great place to celebrate with family and friends.
Hosting a weekend of activities, Paige and Billy hosted their Bridal Party to a mini reception (after the ceremony rehearsal) in the Legacy Tasting Room at Stoller, from there they all hopped on a shuttle to Argyle's Tasting Room for a welcome reception that included everyone invited to the wedding.
The wedding day was nothing short of eventful. While the weather gods were playing games with us all day, we set up as originally planned and hoped for the best. As guests arrived, they were greeted with champagne as they made their way up the path to the ceremony site.
Paige looked absolutely stunning in her Carolina Herrera gown, such a timeless look. As the couple said their vows, the forecast shifted and the rain began. Now for those of you who know- when it starts to rain here in Oregon, it's usually an annoying drippage/mist of sorts- not enough to need an umbrella but definitely enough to annoy you and want to be undercover. We immediately shifted cocktail hour indoors (vs. the lawn) and while guests enjoyed delicious cocktails and canapes, we ultimately decided to move everything inside as well.
The most gracious guests even took off their jackets to help bring in the already set tables and chairs as we reconfigured the entire layout on the spot. Once we got tables in place, we asked guests to find their seats and began family style dinner service.
Since the theme was more garden vibes, we had the guest tables covered in a sage linen cloth while the head table had a green/taupe patterned linen tablecloth. The plates also varied for guest tables and head tables as we wanted to create most statements decor wise amongst anything else.
Blum not only provided floral centerpieces for the tables but also fresh Fall stone fruits dressed along the center of the tables with wooden boards for added texture.
After dinner guests danced the night away to music by the talented live band Side One on the black and white checkered dance floor. Paige changed into a lime green short number - that was to DIE for! And for late-night - none other than Burgerville!
Even with all the wrenches thrown at us today, I don't think it could have been any more perfect. One of my favorites and most memorable for the 2023 season!
Thank you Paige and Billy for letting me be a part of it!
XOXO, Katy
