Molly + Ryan
Amaterra is a special place to Molly + Ryan and their family so it only seemed like the right fit to have it be the location for their wedding. While having a private ceremony at the church the day before with just immediate family, Molly and Ryan said their vows (again) in front of their family and friends on the back patio of the venue overlooking the gorgeous vines and views of the city.
For cocktail hour, guests made their way upstairs into the restaurant for delicious canapés and a variety of signature cocktails that Molly + Ryan had curated along with the venue’s lead bartender. Post cocktail hour, guests made their way back to the lower patio to find their seats for dinner. Two rows of long tables covered in an oatmeal linen cloth by BBJ/La Tavola, clear chargers with a subtle gold rim, gold flatware from Arden Event Collective and simple yet elegant floral centerpieces lining the center of each table from Blum, provided the setting for the family style dinner service. Chef Jami prepared the most fabulous meal, two different salads, three side dishes and two main proteins. To finish off the meal, each guest got their own individual olive oil cake with fresh berries— I’m still dreaming of this cake!
After speeches and a sweet moment of the bride and groom cutting their cake, guests made their way to the ballroom for dancing. The dance floor stayed packed and I think Ryan had the most fun of them all! Molly changed into the cutest little number for the reception and everyone had a great time!
Molly has an impeccable sense of style and it definitely showed when it came to her vision for her wedding and I think we nailed it. Her dress was one of the most beautiful gowns I had ever seen on a bride and she looked radiant. Ryan also looking very dapper himself, I might add. The juxtaposition between the style and the venue were some of my favorite features. It was truly a magical evening and one I won’t forget anytime soon.
