One of my favorite parts of the job is having the opportunity to truly connect with couples. With Kate + Zac, who met while working at Nestle, it was no different. This was a super busy couple who lived out of state, ended up changing jobs and moving all during the planning. Kate + Zac always had smiles on their faces, were super laid back, thoughtful and really let me get creative without micromanaging. The end result was spectacular, if I don't say so myself!

The couple wanted a classic event, so Waverley was the perfect venue. The soft grey and white color palette was elegant and sophisticated. I loved the fluffy florals by Zest, the silver table numbers, patterned linens and overall welcoming and personal vibe. Plus...have you seen a cuter flower girls and ring bearers?

Post-ceremony, the newlyweds beamed as they drove off for a spin in their golf cart. They took photos while guests cocktailed and enjoyed Waverley's candied bacon (I can vouch...it's amazing!).

Toasts had guests crying and laughing and dinner service was on point. Kate + Zac wanted a fun party that their guests would remember for years to come. Enter The Pork Tornadoes....a band that delivered just that! One of the member's is Zac's cousin so you better believe they brought their A game and the packed dance floor proved just that. For those that needed a bite between dancing, the ever fabulous Pips doughnut cart and a Nestle candy station as there to keep guests energized until the glow stick send-off! It was a fabulous day and I loved every second I was able to spend with this couple and their family!

“Katherine, you are many things to so many people, and we are all so lucky to call you a friend; but to me, you are the love of my life, and you are making this the greatest day of my life.” Katherine and Zachary’s wedding was held at the Waverly Country Club in Portland, Oregon. They had a modern yet elegant affair with their closest family and friends in tow. Through laughter and tears, they spread the love far and wide and we’re so grateful we got to capture it that day. A killer live band, Pip’s Donuts, and a sparkler exit capped off the night in true Kate and Zac style. We fell in love with these two from the very start and we couldn’t be happier for them.
