Chic Baby Shower
When Mary throws a party, she really throws a party! I've had the pleasure of working with this family since Mary + Ryan's wedding in 2011 and have planned several parties with them since. They started as clients, but are now some of our closest friends and I absolutely adore them.
This time around, Mary wanted to do something super special for her friend and past nanny, Kim. Kim is the kind of person that lights up the room when she walks in. She has a wonderful way with kids, but she's truly just a joy to be around. I have no doubt in my mind that she will be an amazing mother to a super special little boy. And...can we talk about her darling baby bump?!?!
Mary wanted to go all out and throw a chic garden party brunch at her new home in tones of green, black, white and gold to celebrate the mama-to-be. Guests enjoyed cocktails (and yummy mocktails too!) and delicious appetizers courtesy of Art of Catering. With modern sleek white lacquer tables from Vintage Meets Modern, polka dot flatware from Party Place and the cutest place card/pregnancy fact sheet from Crave Design, it was truly an event to remember. I can't decide which was my favorite detail....the custom green chiavari chairs or the super unique vodka infusion station courtesy of Public Provisions! Clearly, this group likes to have fun.
After an over-the-top brunch buffet, guests oooh'd and ahhh'd over the darling baby gifts, enjoyed a delicious cake by Dream Cakes and cocktailed the morning away. Of course, we couldn't forget the kiddos and set them up with their own craft table! While I do love planning weddings, its so fun to do something a little different, especially with creative freedom!
