Stasi + Kenny
Like most 2021 weddings, COVID created obstacle after obstacle throughout the planning process for Stasi and Kenny. The couple had originally planned to get married at a Portland-area venue. When COVID left things somewhat unpredictable, they opted to move their reception to Stasi's family home. The property is gorgeous, with stunning views of Moot Hood and ample room for their event. Just like COVID's unpredictably, Oregon weather presented its own challenges. After months and months of dry weather and extreme heat, September 18th brought rain - and record breaking amounts of it. Just like Stasi and Kenny did with the rest of the planning process, they rolled with it and kept on going with big smiles on their faces.
The ceremony began downtown at St. Mary's Cathedral. Following the traditional Catholic mass guests were invited to the reception at the Regan residence. Party Place and Pearl Catering worked tirelessly throughout the week leading up as we moved the entire 270 person event all to one tented space given the wet forecast.
Despite the rain, Stasi, Kenny and their guests danced the night-away. When I first met Stasi she said they wanted dinner wrapped by 6pm and guests partying from then on. And that they did! With toilet paper launches and confetti cannons from DJ Chad, the dance floor was always a party!
'Pravitz-Palooza' was one for the books. A memorable night that was enjoyed by every guest. Stasi and Kenny are two of the most fun, genuine people, and I am so excited to see their new life as a married couple unfold!
