Anna + Guy
From our very first meeting, I could feel the love Anna + Guy had for each other and their excitement to officially tie the knot at Gorge Crest Vineyards in the summer of 2022. These two lovebirds were a dream to plan with and made every meeting such a fun and heartfelt time. After they began rounding up this dream team of vendors, I knew their wedding day would be an extra special one I would always remember!
As their wedding day arrived, the hot summer weather from the week cooled down for the perfect day of sunshine and clear views of Mt. Hood. Accompanied by both her parents, Anna made her way down to a stunning backdrop where Guy was waiting for his bride. After the sweetest personal vows, Anna + Guy recessed out to a shower of flower petals (an audible we called in the moment after our flower boys decided not to walk in the processional). It was the perfect surprise for the newlyweds and made for some fabulous photos from Deyla!
Anna chose a touch of dusty blue for her bridesmaids, but I was so excited to hear when she wanted an extra bright pop of color throughout the florals to enhance the gorgeous backdrop of the venue. Trellis came through perfectly with a stunning arbor for the ceremony, luscious bouquets, and the perfect centerpieces to accompany a family style meal provided by Field + Vine. Speaking of dinner, I’ve never heard so many guests say this was their favorite wedding meal to date! Jamie and her team knocked it out of the park with a delicious spread of grilled peaches, garden salad, roasted veggies, salmon, steak, and more!
Somehow among all that food, there was still room for dessert and guests were treated to a beautiful and decadent semi-naked cake from Dream Cakes, completed with the sweetest family heirloom topper provided by Anna’s mom. With full bellies, everyone hit the dance floor where Michael from John Ross Music kept the party going all night long under twinkling lights and sparkling stars of the Columbia River Gorge.
The entire evening was the perfect display of the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and love that Anna + Guy share as they start their new life together. To two of my favorites: Anna + Guy, it was such a joy to get to take part in such a special day with your family, friends, and all the love that was felt throughout the planning process. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both and wish you all the best in married life together!
