Alisha + Kayvon
I met Alisha and Kayvon at the wedding of Samantha and Simon, in the summer of 2021. They were newly engaged and excited to start planning their wedding at Zenith Vineyard and Winery. I was THRILLED when they reached out days later - we hit the ground running planning!
You couldn't ask for a more perfect Oregon August day - 75 and partly sunny. The day was drenched in details that represented Alisha and Kayvon, including both Indian and Persian traditions to honor and celebrate the couple's rich heritage and faith. From the traditional Baraat groom's entrance, to the gorgeous Mandap designed by Blum and Party Place, to the Sofreh Aghd, a symbolic spread and ceremony that takes place at Persian weddings. It was all so thoughtful and meaningful, full of so much color and joy.
Guests enjoyed dinner a la fresca on the winery lawn, with lush green rolling hills and vineyards as the backdrop. Willaby's Catering served a family-style meal, with fresh and local ingredients from around the state.
After dinner guests were invited inside, where the party ramped up and didn't stop until the very end. Surprise choreographed dances were highlights, as DJ Chad worked endlessly with the couple to curate a playlist that was nothing short of epic. This bride and groom got down!
Alisha and Kayvon are two of my favorites - so kind and thoughtful and fun - seeing their huge smiles on their big day was just the best! I wish them so much happiness, joy and adventure as newlyweds as they embark on their new life together!
