2021 Wedding Trends
To say itβs been an interesting 12 months for the wedding and event industry is quite the understatement. By now we are more than familiar with attending special events by social distancing, tuning in via Zoom/Facetime, and coming up with backup plans B, C, and sometimes D. With the world slowly returning to normal, we have had many people starting to wonder what exactly the 2021 wedding season will look like. Nora sat down with KPTV special reporter Spencer Thomas to give the full inside scoop on what to expect this year:
Noraβs Top 2021 Trends
Guest experience is a top priority with additions of handwritten notes, curated place setting, etc.
Smaller guest counts do not mean less special events. Instead couples are going big with their smaller celebrations.
Florals are becoming much more lavish and modern, but still romantic and full!
Utilizing the Pantone colors of the year (Illuminating and Ultimate Grey) in design and decor.
More use of soft seating, even during the ceremony.
Shift in food presentation to accommodate health and safety practices (individual charcuterie boards, miniature desserts, pre-poured cocktail to eliminate waiting in line).
Creative use of tech from Zoom, to planning platforms like RPC, to video mapping.
