What a pleasure working with Libby, Chris and her family on this drool-worthy wedding! I adored the Opsahl family the moment I met them at our initial consultation, and even more so the more I spent time with them. There is so much love in this family, and especially for their newest member, Chris. Libby wanted something soft, romantic, timeless and elegant for her big day. She was studying to become a doctor so extra time was not easy to come by for her. This allowed me to get to know her sister, Tori, and Mom, Suzie to help nail down the details.

Libby's vision was certainly achieved at Portland Golf Club and it was the first wedding ceremony they've allowed on the golf course! Guests were greeted to the ceremony with a beautiful view, a Kir Royal cocktail, and a lush arch designed by Zest Floral that the couple would soon be standing under. This wedding took place the day after a massive fire in the area which had thankfully calmed down earlier that day. However, there was a slight haze as Libby + Chris said their vows, which actually made for amazing photos! The ceremony was personal, humorous and officiated by a very close family friend. After the I-do's, guests enjoyed cocktails outdoors before making their way into the clubhouse for a festive evening.

Each couple received an escort card on a floral vase and found their tables overflowing with flowers and candles. The head table had a full runner made of lush floral and a backdrop of a mantle dripping with gorgeousness. The entire day was flawless and beyond memorable. Libby's dress was beautiful with a jeweled neck and statement back (a hot trend for 2016!), her bridesmaids were perfectly styled in the color scheme, Event Team Entertainment kept the dance floor packed and the towering cake by Dream Cakes was a stunning focal point. I loved everything about this wedding, this couple and this evening...as did Mod Wedding! Congrats you two!
