Kietrie + Yago
I first met Kietrie back in October 2018 when I planned her sister Phoebe's wedding. Needless to say I was so excited when I received an email a few months later with the opportunity to work with this sweet family again.
The couples ceremony took place at Lakeside School and Kietrie wanted to make sure her wedding was unique and different. After all, Phoebe was married here just months prior, so the pressure was on to make sure it was unique and perfectly Kietrie and Yago. Flora Nova created a gorgeous arch of greenery and ivory florals that mimicked the shape of the chapel windows and guests received programs with a beautifully sketched replica of the chapel created by Libby Tipton.
Guests walked down aisles draped in greenery as Blue Wave Band played Spanish Guitar music to represent Yago's heritage while the bridal party walked down to live bag pipe played by BagPIpe 101 to represent Kietrie's. Puget Sound Company sang acapella renditions of songs that had guests on their feet and the couple dancing along, but it was Kietrie's mom Killian who had guests crying happy tears as they left the chapel.
The cocktail hour continued the evening at the Edgewater Hotel where guests enjoyed taking fun photos with Digi Photobooth and enjoyed the skyline view. Once reception doors opened guests dined, and celebrated the newlyweds among gorgeous ivory linens from La Tavola and a mix of high and low green and ivory centerpieces. The entire evening was capped off with an epic live dance party courtesy of Blue Wave Band (reception dress was necessary!), a dessert bar filled with some of our Seattle favorites including Hello Robin cookies, Trophy Cupcakes, Top Pot donuts and more.
Gabriel Boone Photo and Sam Hansen Studios captured the day with ease and showcased Kietrie’s stunning outfit changes. Can we agree her dresses are some of the most gorgeous? Kietrie and Yago we wish you many years of happiness and success!
