Meaghan + Nick
From postponing, to decreased guest count, to new CDC guidelines every month, to finally being able to have a fully vaccinated “normal” wedding, Meaghan and Nick stayed positive through it all! Not to mention they were planning a Seattle wedding from New York! I met Meaghan and Nick for the first time in-person at their rehearsal, but after our first virtual meeting, I could instantly tell what an amazing couple they were.
The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church on Capitol Hill, which has a special connection to Meaghan’s family. A waterfront reception followed at Dockside at Duke’s on Lake Union – a breathtaking backdrop for the stunning sunny Seattle day. Meaghan and Nick both had the biggest smiles on their faces all night and repeatedly told me how perfect the evening was and how happy they were – what else do you need?
Duke’s indoor-outdoor layout and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake allowed everyone to enjoy the gorgeous weather and sunset. The 8-piece band kept the guests full of dancing and gave Meaghan and Nick the excuse to show off their dance moves. No wedding night is complete without late night snacks, and what’s more Seattle than Dick’s burgers and fries?
It was truly an honor to be apart of Meaghan and Nick’s special day, thank you both!
XOXO, Stacy
