Taylor + Matt
I have known both Taylor & Matt since they were little, so it was such an honor to be part of their big day. Watching the two of them become friends as tweens, start to date as young adults, and fully commit themselves to each other in the most recent years, has been so special to me! This darling couple chose to have their ceremony and reception in Seattle, which they have both made their home. They wanted something sophisticated and elegant, with just a touch of drama!
Their ceremony was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Capitol Hill. Taylor looked gorgeous in her long-sleeve lace gown, Matt dashing in his black tuxedo. They opted for the traditional route and did not see each other before the ceremony. Liz Zuluaga was able to capture every magical moment from their I-dos and beyond.
Following their ceremony, guests made their way to the Arctic Club Hotel for drinks in the hotel lobby, where they were entertained by the fabulous Dave Pultorak.
After a swanky cocktail, hour guests made their way into the iconic Dome Room which had been decked out by Shelby with Bond in Bloom. The tables were aglow with candles and trimmed with greenery and soft blooms.
Guests enjoyed dinner, and toasts before we welcomed the newlyweds onto the dance floor! Matt and Taylor's first dance was one of my all time favorites and made even more special by their DJ, Dev from Above! Guests spent the remainder of the night catching up with new & old friends, popping by the photo booth, and of course enjoying the sweet treats provided by Kait of Cake Life Everyday.
It was such a fun day, and I could not be happier for this amazing couple. Cheers to a lifetime of love and laughter together!
