Taylor + Kele

We could not have asked for a more-perfect weather day for Taylor and Kele’s mid-October wedding! The sun shone down on the bright yellow walnut trees at Tin Roof Barn, warm but with the slightest fall crisp in the breeze. Everybody was in awe of this picture-perfect day and venue, and it couldn’t have come together for a nicer couple. Taylor and Kele were so fun to be around, and their love and silliness could not be tamed!

Taylor and Kele could not wait to see each other that day. They did a first look together under the shade of a beautiful tree nearby, and then read their personal marriage vows in a special moment just between them. After guests were welcomed with a glass of champagne and took turns with the polaroid guestbook, they settled on the ceremony patio where the aisle was lined with beautiful blue glass vases filled with pampas grass. Even though they already had a first look, Kele completely broke down in happy tears when he saw his beautiful bride walk in. It had all the guests crying and laughing simultaneously! Kele’s uncle Jim performed such a lovely, personal ceremony and finally the lovebirds were pronounced husband and wife!

The pavilion was a perfect setting for cocktail hour, with signature drinks named after their sweet pups and assorted bags of popcorn for guests to much on. Taylor and Kele joined in on the fun and mingled with their loved ones before sneaking off for couple photos as the golden sun set behind the distant hills. I loved the grand reveal of the barn as the majestic barn doors opened up for dinner time (I definitely saw a few guests’ jaws drop with the sight).

The fun never ended with this crew! After a hilarious grand entrance, guests had to listen for their table’s song to be played to join the buffet line, which to my delight included hits from *NSYNC to Shania Twain. Toasts included silly family photos and funny memories, and instead of a traditional cake, Taylor and Kele smashed Krispy Kreme donuts into each other’s faces. One of the sweetest moments of the whole day was a surprise dance for the mother of the bride to their special song “My Wish” that had everyone in tears again, myself included!

The crowd then gathered for a group photo before hitting the dance floor, enticed by heart-shaped sunglasses and neon glow sticks handed out by the couple. The dance floor was packed, and the only thing that could top it was the two inflatable dinosaur costumes that made an appearance - a family tradition! SO. MUCH. FUN. It was a day full of endless laughter and love, and I know this couple’s life together will be the same. Cheers Taylor and Kele! I was honored to help make your dream day come true!

XOXO, Emily
