Clare and Connor are such a great couple, and I was so excited to be a part of their big day. Small world—I went to high school with Connor and his sweet mom was a math teacher there, so I knew from the start this would be a fun one! While we were all concerned about what the weather was going to do that weekend, the rain stayed away! The ceremony was held on a beautiful grass lawn tucked over in the garden, and guests were welcomed by the lovely string music of Duo Con Brio. The bride and groom chose not to do a first look, and seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony was such a wonderful moment! Their love for each other is so palpable.

After a thoughtful ceremony performed by Clare’s brother-in-law, with the bride and groom’s siblings standing by their sides, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio before being seated for dinner. Clare and Connor (both in a sleek new outfit) descended the property’s picturesque brick and ivy-adorned staircase and entered grandly to Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E”. Connor gave the most loving speech about his new wife that had everyone reaching for the tissues.

Guests helped themselves to a delicious buffet dinner and then enjoyed toasts from Clare’s father, her two sisters, and Connor’s brother. I loved that it was a family affair! Next, the bride and groom made their way to a stunning five-tiered champagne tower, popped some bottles, and got the party started - one of my favorite moments from the day!

Guests were treated to mouth-watering ice cream sandwiches from Ruby Jewel while Clare made a third and fabulous outfit change, and then the dancing commenced! The High Street Band brought the energy and played into the night. One of Clare’s friends even jumped in to perform “Rolling in the Deep” and the crowd went wild! It was another great moment in such a fun day celebrating the love of two people so clearly meant to be together.
