Margot + Juan
THE OREGON GOLF CLUB was the perfect venue for Margot & Juan’s classic wedding coordinated by KATY. The ceremony faced east and guests had views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams and neighboring vineyards during the Catholic vows. Signature cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres were served on the patio post-ceremony and guests were then invited into the amber lit pavilion for dinner and dancing with music provided by PRESSURE POINT BAND. The combination of mercury glass, pewter linens, gold chiavaris and chargers gave the big white tent a sophisticated and warm vibe. ZEST provided stunning ivory florals featuring hydrangeas and white garden roses with pops of magenta and sprigs of gold baby’s breath at each place setting. The ceremony space was later converted into an outdoor lounge area under cafe lighting provided by GREENLIGHT CREATIVE.
Being from Venezuela, Juan wanted to incorporate some of his cultural traditions into the wedding, one of which was serving delicious tequeños (imagine the most delicious fried cheese stick you’ve ever had, then make it even better) as a late night treat. Following the tequeños, they included another fun tradition, La Hora Loca “the crazy hour,” where the bride and groom provide props for their guests (everything from fun necklaces to masks and sunglasses) to use throughout the evening while dancing the night away. It was definitely an evening to remember!
