Desiree + Kate
Words cannot express how amazing it was to work with Desiree and Kate. We met last year and started the process of planning their wedding. Our first challenge was finding the perfect venue. Desiree wanted a downtown Portland ballroom, however, after touring multiple venues nothing was clicking. In comes Urban Studio - the second they walked in they fell in love! Perfect for the size of their wedding and a truly a blank canvas which allowed us to set up the space to their exact vision.
From the beginning Desiree knew she wanted a rustic wedding bringing that to life in such a modern space was going to be a fun challenge. In the end the arrangement of different chairs and benches along with the beautiful (home-made) twinkle light backdrop proved to bring that exact vision to life. We had created a beautiful rustic modern chic wedding in the heart of Downtown Portland.
Desiree and Kate had so many amazing details that truly made the wedding extra special... "chose a seat not a side either way it's for a bride" chalkboard sign, a touch of rosemary on each guest's napkin, Dinosaur bow=ties (Kate LOVES Dinosaur's) and their amazing hashtag #nolongerroomates.
Desiree and Kate were a blast to work with and get to know for the past year. Both full of love and truly amazing women. It was an honor to get to know them and help them plan a truly beautiful day full of love, happiness, and laughter. Congrats! You are truly no longer roommates anymore! I wish you nothing but the best!
