Mary & Ryan were married on a hot July day at one of our favorite places to be, THE ALLISON INN in Wine Country. In honor of their anniversary this week, we felt the need to share this fab event that was somehow never blogged about! Mary & Ryan read about BRIDAL BLISS on a blog and were planning a wedding in three short months. They brought on NORA to not only guide them through the process, but also design the entire event and make most of the decisions. Weeks after they booked, the couple went on an extended road trip of the US in their Airstream trailer and were not exactly accessible. Nora took what little guidance they gave her (a natural feel with bright corals and curly willow) and ran with it. Thankfully Mary & Ryan loved the finished product and the night was certainly one for the books with exceptional details. The best part? Mary, Ryan, Nora and Nora’s husband Tyler have become the best of friends and recently returned from a fun sunny family vacation together. We’ve even had the opportunity to plan more WEDDINGS and PARTIES for this wonderful family!

Mary wore a darling short number with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps for photos, to greet guests and cocktail pre-ceremony. She then quickly changed into her custom made bridal gown for the ceremony remainder of the evening. Ryan had intended to change into a custom lavender/grey suit but was having too much fun and decided to stick with his tan duds.

Wood rounds with calligraphy made their way into the decor as ceremony reserved signs, bride/groom chair signs and even reception escort “cards.” The Party Place created custom wood benches with cushions for our ceremony which were intermixed with the folding chairs.

After a meaningful ceremony officiated by a close family friend, the couple walked out with all of their friends and family singing the recessional. It started with Mary’s brother, and then more and more joined in. We printed the lyrics to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” on the back of the program so everyone could join in once they realized what was happening. It was so fun!

Guests dined on an absolutely delicious six course meal complete with coursed wine pairings.

Could she be anymore gorgeous!?! The truth of the matter is that she even more beautiful on the inside. Nora loved every minute of working with Mary! Low maintenance, trusting and fun.

As the night went on, we had the band make an announcement for all the guests to head out to the patio. We surprised them with an epic fireworks display coordinated with music the couple had chosen! In an effort to keep the party going, we welcomed guests back into the ballroom with warm cookies, shots of milk, espresso and Bailey’s (the bride’s favorite).
