Chelsea + Chris
From start to finish, planning with Chelsea and Chris was an amazing experience! They chose their family cabin in Welches as the venue for their nuptials. The cabin is nestled in a gorgeous forest, with the river running through. They put months of work into readying the grounds for their special day, which included building a beautiful wooden bar, a stage for the band, fire-pits, as well as bridges and paths that allowed guests to explore the property!
Chelsea and Chris wanted an intimate wedding with their loved ones. Guests were shuttled from Mt. Hood Oregon Resort to the private residence. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with umbrellas and made their way down to the ceremony site for champagne. With rain in the forecast, we opted for clear tents and heaters to keep guests dry and warm!
Chelsea's brother Cooper officiated the ceremony with the Salmon River as the backdrop. Blum did a beautiful job of accenting the pathway and trees with touches of floral. Both Chelsea and Chris had two of their closest friends standing by their sides as they said their “I Do's”. After the ceremony, guests headed to the cocktail hour area for tray-passed appetizers and specialty drinks by Pearl Catering.
Once the ceremony site was fully flipped for dinner and dancing, guests headed to their seats. The farm tables were set with beautiful garlands by Blum, along with candles and place cards. A delicious dinner by Pearl Catering was followed by cake cutting and dances.
There was no shortage of delicious desserts for those with a sweet tooth! Chelsea and Chris arranged for S'mores by the fire-pits, cotton candy and cake by Papa Haydn! For those craving something savory, there was a late night Mac N' Cheese bar!
It was a beautiful evening for a couple who deserves endless happiness. Chelsea and Chris, it was truly a pleasure to help you make your vision a reality!
