Tessa + Shail | Indian Ceremony
Planning a wedding from afar isn’t always easy, but Tessa and Shail made it fun and effortless. We began working together about a year before their wedding. Both living in California they picked Oregon for their wedding to showcase the beautiful Northwest and come back to where Tessa grew up. With wanting two days of fun events, we dove into planning!
The Friday festivities were held at the Portland Art Museum. Guest gathered before the ceremony for a traditional Baraat, including a white horse. As DJ Adi played music and his Dohl, guests danced through the streets building up the excitement for the ceremony
The ceremony took place in the Sunken Ballroom where Color Theory adorned the mandap with lush, vibrant flowers. After the ceremony guests were welcomed upstairs in the Grand Ballroom.
From special performances and group dances to an amazing dinner by Devil’s Food, the first night was a success and I couldn’t wait to continue the celebrations on Saturday!
