Claire + Thomas
Claire & Thomas' wedding was so fun to plan! They wanted a timeless and elegant wedding with touches of Portland mixed in, so when it came to deciding on the venue, we ended up with two. Council Crest Park was the perfect ceremony location and Hotel deLuxe topped it off for the reception. Guests were shuttled from Hotel deLuxe to the secret ceremony location, as to avoid any parking issues. The day couldn't have been more beautiful, skies were clear, the sun was out- the view....wow....the view! Blum kept the florals for the ceremony simple, creating a floral arch which sat on the ground to not obstruct any views.
After the ceremony, guests made their way back to the hotel for cocktail hour and dinner. The tables were set with soft gray linens, gold chargers & chivari chairs. The florals were a gorgeous combo of ivories, whites, soft pinks and fuchsias giving the room a regal and warm feel. After dinner, guests made their way into the "Screening Room" where Thomas and Claire surprised guests with a choreographed swing dance (an homage to the class they met in while at OSU). After dancing the night away, guests took home a bag of some of Thomas' favorite coffee, from Water Ave Coffee Roasters, it was an epic night!
