Carly & Lee had just moved to Portland shortly after getting engaged. Knowing that all but two of their guests would be traveling from out of town, they wanted to make sure their wedding weekend was one that no one would forget. With New Years Eve falling on a Saturday, they knew it was the perfect date!

With both the ceremony and reception at Leftbank Annex, we had room to play with the space giving both ceremony & reception a romantic, warm, winter feel. Blum designed an amazing hanging floral arch adorned with candlelight all around the base surrounding Carly & Lee as they said their vows. After the ceremony, guests made their way downstairs for cocktail hour, while the upstairs was transformed into the reception space which included a gorgeous lounge area with white, gold and black furniture and accents.

To top it off, balloons strung above the dance floor for the midnight drop. Mixtures of long and round tables mixed up the reception space, each table covered with champagne linens, gold beaded chargers, champagne napkins adorned with menus and rosemary sprig to top it off. Blum created gorgeous garlands and arrangements for each table that helped give the room a warm feel.

After dinner, guests danced the night away with live music from the amazing Precious Byrd Band who helped ring in the New Year by singing Auld Lang Syne. It was a night to remember and a great start to Carly & Lee's life together. Congratulations you two!
