Sara + Brandon
I was very eager to meet this couple! Especially when I heard that these two had invited nearly 400 people to their September wedding. We first met out at the venue site, a working hop farm out near Salem, where the groom works. It was a beautiful, windy drive through “hop country." Once on site, it was so wonderful to see the couple's vision come to life! Sara, who by the end of this I begged to come work with us, is a style mastermind, and had completely laid out how we were going to fit 400 guests comfortably on this gorgeous piece of land.
The day began with the ladies getting pampered with hair and makeup by Stacy Brown and Kelsea Fredrickson. The girls traveled from the Groom’s parents home to the venue site greeted by Emily G Photography and their beautiful bouquets from Bohemian Bouquets.
While Sara and her bridesmaids did a TON of DIY and work on this set up, rentals were brought in from Danner & Soli for the ceremony and reception. After the couple was married by a family friend, guests were treated to specialty cocktails, and some awesome craft beer.
McKillip’s catering was on hand serving up some seriously mouth-watering barbeque. Once dinner was finished, everyone gathered close to hear a pretty epic line up of speeches, finished by a heartfelt thank you from the couple. Guests were then treated to a selection of cakes from Cutsforth Bakery. After the Bride and Groom slipped into their custom dancing shoes, the party started, and went well into the night.
Every person involved with this wedding was such a pleasure to work with, showing me what a wonderful life these guys have ahead of them!! PS- Sara, still waiting on that call that you’re ready to come to Bridal Bliss!
