As a part of the Seattle-based Bridal Bliss Team, it is not every day that I get to plan a wedding in Oregon. However, after meeting Melanie and Brady I knew I just had to be a part of their special day!

Melanie and Brady chose The Columbia Gorge Hotel for their September wedding, which was even more special for Melanie's family as many of them live in the area.

The entire weekend was full of celebration, and we could not have been happier with the gorgeous fall Pacific Northwest weather.

If you have not been to this hotel before, it is one to visit as it sits directly above the Gorge providing wedding ceremonies - including Melanie and Brady's with the most amazing backdrop.

Guests enjoyed this view, along with beautiful arrangements by Jordan of Blum, and were entertained by the cutest flower girl and ring bearer duo.

Following some epic family photos (including some good laughs over me trying to remove sap from Brady's suit pants!) guests sampled cocktails and appetizers on the patio before moving over to our main tent for dinner.

Blum's stunning certepieces, coupled with rentals from Bridgewood Rentals and paper goods by Robinson Paperie made for a truly stunning evening. Dinner concluded, and the real party began.

And when I say party, we are talking one for the books. Mel and Brady, both WSU alums contacted their college favorite, DJ Goldfinger, who made a special trip out from Pullman to celebrate with these two! He kept the entire night moving with a packed dance floor from start to finish! And a first for me, the party was so fun we actually had wedding crashers from the hotel next door!!! Needless to say we had to ask these four to leave to make room for our actual wedding guests!

The celebration concluded the following morning with a farewell brunch on the patio of the hotel. Guests slowly made their way downstairs, in part because of all the fun had the night before, but more so that no one wanted this weekend to end! I felt very much the same way - sad to say goodbye to such an amazing couple!

Mel and Brady, I don't think a dance party will ever be topped! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
