Kara + Jaime

 

The magnificent Multnomah Falls was the backdrop to Kara and Jaime’s nuptials on a clear summer day. With the Oregon landmark holding a special memory in the heart of this Texas couple, they knew it was the place they wanted to say “I Do,” in front of their closest family and friends, surrounded by all the natural beauty. Sophisticated Floral provided tropical arrangements that exceeded the bride’s expectations, and added gorgeous pops of color to the outside ceremony space, and inside the lodge throughout the reception.

The cocktail hour featured Kara and Jaime’s signature drinks which were named after their dogs: the Harley (Marionberry Margarita) and the Hudson (an Irish Car Bomb - Bailey’s, Jameson, and Guinness), and guests’ drinks included the addition of a custom ice cube that was etched with the couples initials from PDX Ice. For dinner, the in-house chefs prepared a delicious buffet for guests - prime rib, and cranberry hazelnut crusted salmon, with roasted potatoes and asparagus. Laurie Clarke Cakes provided a vibrant 3-tier wedding cake bursting with lemon and strawberry flavor, and Pie Spot baked Marionberry Cobblers that were served with Blue Bell Ice Cream (the groom’s favorite, and a Texas staple!).

Kara and Jaime, it was so wonderful working with you to help you make your wedding day everything you dreamed of. The personal touches you included in your day will be some of the highlights that your guests will remember for years to come. I wish you all the best for your life together!
