Alex + Jake
With plenty of sunshine to spare, Alex and Jake celebrated their marriage in the blooming rose garden of the Oregon Golf Club. Not even the heat could dim their laughter, hugs, and witty banter - and there was a whole lot! I knew these two would be such a fun and energetic couple from the first time I met them! So, it was no surprise when their families and friends arrived just as electric.
The wedding was a true family affair, with everything from the officiant to the flowers, signage, and stationery created with love by their closest family and friends. For their unity ceremony, they chose to seal a box with a bottle of wine and notes from their parents and grandparents, to be opened and enjoyed on their fifth wedding anniversary!
The toasts were heartfelt and humorous, offering a glimpse into their future holiday gatherings and game nights. After their choreographed first dance to a custom wedding song, the real "Par-Tee" began, a nod to the family's love of golf! Before the evening ended, Alex paused the dance party to honor her mother by dedicating her bouquet to her. It was a touching and special moment.
No Oregon Golf Club wedding would be complete without a sparkler exit, creating one final celebration filled with fun and laughter! It was a true honor to be part of Alex and Jake's special day. I have no doubt that they will fill the rest of their married life with witty banter and a lot of love. Cheers to you both!
