Rachael + Ryan
Rachael + Ryan were an absolute blast to work with! As both are police officers who met on the job, we worked to make sure that we could incorporate unique elements into their day, while still displaying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest at their stunning venue, Gorge Crest Vineyard. During the planning process, COVID hit, requiring us to re-evaluate what their July celebration would look like. Rachael and her mother Betsy were absolute troopers during the process and opted to trim down their wedding day to an intimate family dinner for 10.
Rachael was anything, but a traditional bide, so I loved seeing her personality shine through her wedding day attire. Opting for a jumpsuit over a wedding dress and trading in a veil for a flower crown, she was a true vision walking down the aisle! The couple participated in a sand pouring unity ceremony to represent their two families becoming one, before sealing their new union with a kiss.
After the I Doβs, the ceremony space was flipped into an elegant dinner reception with 3 rustic banquet tables for an intimate dining layout. Flowing greenery runners, sparkling candles, and a stunning view of the Columbia Gorge became the perfect backdrop for a catered dinner from Reedville and heartfelt toasts to the newlyweds.
Congratulations Rachael + Ryan! I am so honored to have taken part in your special day and loved to see how it all came together.
XOXO, Katy
