Karly and Tracy asked for three things at the beginning of planning their wedding. 1. Furs and Flannels vibe 2. A ceremony in the SNOW- so guests could "freeze their a**e* off" and 3. To just show up. Well, we delivered, and so did the weather gods. After not having snowed for 6 weeks at Lake Creek Lodge, we all showed up to Lake Creek to settle in. On the morning of the welcome party and wedding, we woke up to a total of about 4-5 inches of snow! Talk about the weather gods pulling through!

Prior to the ceremony, guests gathered at the lodge for a Hot Toddy, Hot Buttered Rum or Spiked Hot Cocoa Cocktail, then were escorted to the ceremony overlooking the (frozen) pond. Karly and Tracy said their vows in front of their closest friends and family members, officiated by the fabulous Melissa Coe in the 17* temp. Guests were given fur and flannel blankets, not only to keep warm at the wedding, but to also take as a parting gift after the end of the evening.

After the ceremony, guests made their way back to the lodge, where they warmed up by the fire (both inside and out!) with specialty cocktails, beer and wines. A delicious Huckleberry Mule was served, as an homage to Karly - it's what she's known for (and it was DELISH!). After enjoying some delicious appetizers and cocktails, guests made their way into the dining hall, where the wooden tables were covered in red flannel linens and the chairs each had a sheepskin fur hanging over the top, Blum provided red roses and tulips with touches of greenery. Wooden chargers were set on the tables and oatmeal colored napkins were tied with leather among wooden engraved place cards with each guests name.

Dessert was served outside by the cauldron where guests enjoyed s'mores by the fire, as we flipped the dining area into a dance floor. Event Team kept the dance floor packed all night playing the greatest tunes. It was such a fun night, even making waking up to below -6 degree temps all worth it!
