Saffron Fields Inspiration Shoot
SAFFRON FIELDS is one of Dundee’s newest vineyards and we were honored to work with such a talented team on a recent INSPIRATION SHOOT at the venue. With it’s beautiful landscape and architecture, showcasing the property without too much of a distraction was our goal. The over-sized patio overlooking the beautifully designed pond and garden is the perfect ceremony backdrop. Guests are able to enjoy the beauty of the landscape in an area designed by the former director of the Portland Japanese Gardens, Hoichi Kurisu, who has also designed some of the country’s best Japanese Gardens. The tasting room, which converts to cocktail space along with the bar for events, showcases artwork from various contemporary artists, collections of the owners. For the reception, a large well groomed field with a stunning view of the vineyards can hold up to 150 guests. As saffron itself is of golden-yellowish color, it only made sense to include yellow floral as part of the decor. With white pin tuck linens, combination of long and round tables and chiavari chairs, the floral was a great element to add to the space. As a favor to the guests, a small personalized container of saffron was placed alongside the place card and menu cards. With a gorgeous space and good wine, you definitely can’t go wrong!
