This past week I had the opportunity to attend an open house for a brand new event space in Portland called Imago Ballroom.   The space is run by VT Group and is really a unique venue in a great location.

Found off SE 8th & Burnside (right behind Le Pigeon), the Ballroom is newly renovated and boasts beautiful hardwood floors, 25 foot ceilings, 18 foot windows,  a great bridal suite upstairs where the girls can actually watch guests as they arrive, and even an elevated stage.  Image Ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests (without a dance floor and tables of 10).    You also have the option of using an attached Theater for the ceremony as an add-on.   The colors are quite neutral so it is really a blank canvas.  My favorite features are the black chivari chairs and up-lighting included in the space rental!

The venue allows to choose one of three caterers which are all run by VT Group:  Vibrant Table, Food in Bloom and F&B Cafe Catering.

Note–the venue does not have an elevator.

Pricing runs $2250 for a Saturday, $2350 for a Friday or Sunday rental.

Adding on the Theater runs $2300 for Saturdays and $2000 for Fridays or Sundays.

I’m excited to plan an event at this new space—there aren’t many close-in options in the SE area!
