If anyone is interested---here is the response: How it works: It's similar to other honeymon registries out there, where couples can make a list of the experiences they want and how much they would like for each gift. A lot of couples are getting married later in life, and already have the household items they need, or they simply prefer experiences over more stuff. We make it easier for them to have a beautiful honeymoon registry with no ads. If they so choose, they can upgrade to a themed design for $39. Compare this to Traveler's Joy, another honeymoon registry, which takes 7.5%. That means for a couple getting $4,000, it's $300 that's lost in registry fees. Regarding our fees: We only take fees for credit card gifts (we pass on the fees that credit card processors charge us). We do not take any fees on cash or check gifts. We allow U.S. couples to use our built-in payment system. We take a small credit card fee of 2.8% + 30c (lower than PayPal), which couples can request to transfer it directly into their bank account.
