As you are planning your wedding, remember to keep the comfort of your guests in mind.  Although the wedding is about you and your fiance, you are still the hostess to several guests that are spending their day celebrating you.  Check out my live segment from MORE Good Day Oregon this morning for some ideas on how to avoid guest gripes!

A big thanks to Leanna NYC for supplying me with my dress! If you haven’t visited this darling boutique in the Pearl, you have to check it out. They have a great selection of little dresses for the rehearsal dinner, showers or just everyday cuteness!

Portland Wedding Proposal Gone Viral!

Sunday, May 27th, 2012

If you haven’t had the pleasure of watching the latest proposal video that has gone viral…here is your chance.  Isaac was in my graduating high school class, and as kind and heartfelt as they come.  Although I haven’t seen him for years (outside of facebook!), this video brought tears to my eyes (in between the laughs)!  I can promise you, the 5 minutes is more than worth it.

How cute is his fiance watching everything unfold in front of her? Last I heard, the clip was tweeted by Bruno Mars himself, posted on hundreds of blogs around the world, has almost two million youtube views (and counting!) and the happy couple have been approached by Ellen, the Today Show and Good Morning America. How exciting!!

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012

We LOVE having happy clients and all of our coordinators here at Bridal Bliss go out of our way to ensure that each couple we work with are nothing less than thrilled.  Some couples are so happy with the services they receive, that we even get a little love during toasts! Still can’t get over our sweet our bride Nancy, her hilarious father Ed Tonkin and their shout-outs during toasts!!  We loved everything about this couple and their amazing wedding.  Shields Films put together a little montage for us…take a peek!

Unique Wedding Registry Ideas

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012

Yesterday, Cathy Marshall (a reporter from KGW) called and wanted to come in within the hour to film an interview on wedding registries, which aired later that afternoon.  I LOVE when couples create unique wedding registries rather than the same old house-ware stores, so I was excited for the opportunity .  So many of our clients already have established homes and may even be living together…so there is no need for wine glasses and dinner china!  Why not register for wine, your honeymoon or even a charity instead?  Check out the interview that aired on the news yesterday for some more fun ideas and registry etiquette.

Jane + Michael

Friday, May 4th, 2012

This last weekend, Christina helped bring Jane & Michael’s amazing wedding to life.  This event was so over-the-top, overflowing with elegant details and it matched the bride’s personality perfectly.  Jane is a total crack-up, she has a super fun personality and a great sense of humor.  Se had a vision and certainly infused her appreciation for the finer things in life into her wedding day.

Everything from the amazing dress (which can be seen in the wedding dress montage from the Sex and the City movie!), to the fab decor, to the delicate two tiered wedding cakes for each guest left each guests in awe.  After all of the guests had left, Jane & Michael stuck around Blue Hour and shared some champagne with Christina toasting a truly spectacular wedding.  What a night!Click here for a slideshow of wedding images by the talented folks at Holland Studios.

A note from Jane:

I just wanted to say thank you for making our day and evening so special!! The entire day from start to finish was absolutely beautiful! Your attention to detail was phenomenal!

I have received thank you after thank you from guests who said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. There is no possible way this would have happened without the fabulous collaboration of talent between you and Mike.

Thank you so very much!! Everything exceeded my expectations!  I still have a smile on my face. It was truly one of the happiest days of my life.

Warmly,

Jane
