Kim Weisoff, the lovely host (and one of my favorite brides), was ahead of the game and wore a gorgeous chocolate brown dress for her September ceremony that hugged her curves perfectly.  She later changed into a white dress but I absolutely LOVE the uniqueness of her color choice.  Way to be on-trend Kim!  More photos from this wedding coming soon in the next issue of Oregon Bride Magazine!

I am always trying to come up with unique ways to personalize wedding ceremonies for my clients.  I have talked to a few brides about a “Ring Warming Ceremony” which is where the bride and groom’s rings are passed to guests during the ceremony.  It gives each guest the opportunity to say a silent prayer or give a blessing to the couple.  It is not distracting at all but instead really makes your guests feel like a part of the big day.

I was recently on Pintrest and saw this darling photo–I just love this idea!

Several of my brides struggle with a song choice for their father/daughter dance.  Have you ever considered choreographing a song?  This past summer one of the sweetest dances I saw involved the bride and her dad performing a two step that they had gone to lessons for and perfected before the big day.
